“The Uruguayan Women Association of Florida (AMUF) is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization founded in 2002 to help improve life conditions for poor children in Uruguay.
AMUF focuses on hunger and education. We believe that providing food solves only part of the problem. If we want a better future for all, we need to concentrate on educating the children. In order to help change the way these children live, eat and think we must help to empower them – physically, emotionally and socially - with food, healthcare and education.
